Solomon and Sheba Part 09/17

Shortly before his death in ancient Israel King David has a vision from God telling him that his younger son Solomon should succeed him as king. His other son Adonijah is unhappy and vows to attain the throne. Meanwhile the Egyptian Pharoah agrees to cede a Red Sea port to the Queen of Sheba is she can find a way to destroy Solomon, whose wisdom and benevolent rule is seen as a threat to more tyrannical monarchs in the region. Sheba, Pharoah, Adonijah, the leaders of the Twelve Tribes and his own God make life difficult for Solomon who is tempted by Sheba to stray. In fact, the Queen is in league with the Pharaoh of Egypt and her aim is to divide the twelve tribes of Israel and uses the disaffected Prince Adonijah in her plans. This is Terran mission 7 from the Starcraft: Brood War campaign, titled Patriot's Blood. This video's extra long because, well, there's just a lot of dialogue and events in it. It's my favorite non-base/infiltration mission, so I say it deserves the extra time.

1991 Nancy Kerrigan - Worlds SP

I think only Shirley Maclaine would have an easy time writing a synopsis of Nancy Kerrigan's career. An attractive girl who paid her dues and worked her way up the competitive ladder, she was known for great consistency....except in the one moment it mattered the most (93 Worlds LP). I suppose she is an example of "not being prepared mentally" to be World Champion. I can remember Kurt Browning helping a more naturally gifted skater, Kristi Yamaguichi over the hump.....it's a shame she apparantly chose R2D2 as her Jedi master!! (Some things just can't be programmed). I never heard a credible explanation of why she folded. I almost wish she had made up some outrageous claim like "I was out all night with Christopher Bowman" or "I ate baby salamanders for dinner last nite!" --- something that would have made, just a little sense! Unfortunately, like the matriarch elephant going down on her knees, she was enveloped in a cacophany of malevolent forces that circled faster than a pride of hungry lions. In the end, the judges in Lillihamer had a choice between a "Princess of Perseverance" and "Little Orphan Annie"! To their great discredit, they were suckered by an emotionally manipulative alcoholic, and chose badly. At least Daddy Warbucks maintained some discipline in his household! Hopping off a triple flip has traditionally been a lethal injection for Gold medal hopes (not to mention a pathetic double axel). Starcraft - Terran - 05: Revolution

Terran 05: Revolution in my Starcraft walkthrough. The attack move helps quite a bit in this level, I actually thought the 'attack' command was just for force firing on something until now, oh well. Sneak Kerrigan into the base Cloaked whilst using Raynor and the Marines to clear everything on the way to the base. As soon as you gain control of it get working on the expansion for the Starport so you can build Dropships. Clear the immediate threat and send all of your units as south east as posisble, including the ones in the Bunkers. Send Kerrigan and Raynor over first with some Marines and just attack move to the west, it really isn't hard from here. With attack move they'll prioritise units over buildings, so Firebats shouldn't be able to come up to you and roast you with their splash damage. Just keep dropping those Marines in and train a few extra just in case Spider Mines take out a group. Keep Raynor and Kerrigan behind the line of Marines for the final segment of the base to avoid an unfortunate death. Another method for no losses in this level is to use Wraiths, just get 6-8 with cloaking and take out their base. The only thing to watch out for is the couple of Misisle Turrets, which you can drop Kerrigan and Raynor in to deal with quickly.

World of Warcraft - Death Knight - Gameplay Part 3 (New Avelon Genocide!)

(I tried different render settings on this video) I may (very strong word, that may is) do some form of live commentary in future parts, but for now I'm still getting used to capturing and putting the gameplay through Sony Vegas and such. Yes, I'm pretty nooby, but I haven't play this game in around two years or so... It'll take me awhile to get used to it again. If anybody sees this video and wants to give me any Death Knight build tips or anything (as I'm pretty much picking whatever sounds cool), that'd be much appreciated. So far I only have a few points in the Blood talent tree, as that seems like the fastest for leveling.
