Our weekend started at 3:30 on Saturday morning and it was exciting Karlie from the moment we entered the airport, until we landed in Texas to observe. She is still swimming! Katie had to work and in the end, I'm sure a good time without anyone at home. NCC can not thank you enough for inviting me to this very special journey.
We checked into a hotel, within walking distance to Venice Beach and had to save several hours before the meeting, Susan and Anne. Karlie wasin another world - seeing all the buildings added, looking at the people and especially meeting all the dogs that have been crushed! The mountains and the coast were spectacular and we sat on the pier, surfers looking for several hours, dipped their toes in the Pacific Ocean and must not miss the opportunity I hope to write in the sand before returning to the hotel and ready for frosted pink. We really had no idea what to expect.
E 'was wonderful to see Anne and Susan again andDani and her husband, Lynn, and Leslie meet. We arrived at the pink carpet, the crowd was gathering and I was wondering what would be next. Anastacia came and cameras started flashing. Shawn Johnson, Olympic champion, was among the crowd. Limos arrived and began to fill in the carpet. Peggy Fleming and Sharon Osbourne appeared. I gave Sharon a C3 Blue Star of Hope Pin. He stopped to sign autographs and talked for a while, 'and I was surprised by his small stature, but not by themfriendly smile and warm words. She is an inspiration! I was sincere, but not for you to do with it and probably regret it forever. Only later I realized it was good. All skaters showed up and I was in awe when I saw Yamaguchi, Nancy Kerrigan, Baiul and Kristi Oxsana. Heart and then came together with William Baldwin. Someone asked for a picture and Karl asked for an autograph. I took the opportunity to ask him if he wanted to pose for my part, withthem. He smiled and said yes, then he said he would not be good, where they were and he would come to her. So with a lot of people around the camera and flash, went to the bar to Karlie for a better view. He quickly became their new idol! and me too:) I was excited, Eva LaRue, and then Joss Stone, both of which see under their shifts. Andrea Bowen was a highlight of Karl global Desperate Housewives fan. He signed autographs and posed for a photoand was then talking with Karl for a while '. Karlie was surprised to discover that they had the same age. We left our seats and were watching the show.
In a conversation with Dani, a survivor of breast cancer, I was astonished to learn that they have cycled 3,700 miles to raise awareness. I heard Susan NCC introduced and could not help but think of the survivor's pension after the event and the responsibility and the awareness that was to bring more overwhelming. I wondered how could Susanso natural and at ease as the cameras brought to their attention and realized that they need as survivors burst with pride. I felt the tears again as he took his seat next to me and Anna, also a survivor. After a refreshing night, my daughter went to the ice and was joined by Alicia Arden General Hospital. Youclapped and shouted and Karla was truly transformed from a country diva girls amazing TV for a few hours. I can not wait to see him make the event this Sunday and I hope that you all see it too. There was no one person is affected by the disease, and was in every single service and in the eyes of those who see clearly. I thought the Toolbox CNC and how many people it helps and I am proud to know that I am part of a community so strong, and that this communityamong others, ensures that all of us to cover your butt with the knowledge and hope that no one left behind.
We arrived home late Sunday evening Karlie to go talk to school the next day and for me to meet Sirtex. Karlie and I were on Cloud 9 ..... He was excited to tell the world about Frosted Pink and I was seriously thinking about the times, the quality of life and hope that I soon attack in a group of people who often keep these three gifts in their hands. IWaking up every morning knowing that I would not be here if it were not for SIR-Spheres - make clear that I have not seen my daughters and their dating, driving, and diplomas. knowing that in the near future, a memory of this suffering in the distant past will be - I'm not the quality that I appreciated the time with Ronnie, or hope that I have felt every day. I have to meet Becky, too, and it was a great time. Hearing vision, and their history, the images of her beautiful familyand consultation (what I hope to share that with you all) about their "tree of life" was a great gift. It 'was an enriching and stimulating, and after months of e-mail is like a party to embrace the person.
Today is a new day! The sun is shining and the world is bright and next week is filled with more to come.
